ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT - TV/FILM - LONDON

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join global TV and motion picture production company on a permanent basis. The Finance Team here is the backbone of company, ensuring that the wonderful things they create are translated to accurate financial and are guided by insightful, commercial analysis and challenge.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger, resolving all queries in a timely manner and ensuring that all payments are made to terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the full creditors ledger, including creditors reconciliations

  • Processing purchase invoices and preparation of all payment runs

  • Manage all queries from internal and external stakeholders through to resolution

  • Manage Purchase Order, Travel and Staff expenses systems

  • Posting purchase ledger entries into the accounting system, including invoices, payments and allocations

  • Perform rebate calculations and settlement

  • Support for VAT process, including assisting with preparation of quarterly VAT return

  • Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations and CFO reporting

  • Prepare bi-annual forecasting of cash payments

  • Training operational teams on PO raising, SAP coding

  • Assist with wider month end closing process

  • Ad hoc reporting and assistance when required

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years accounts payable experience

  • Intermediate Excel or higher (pivot tables, nested functions)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively interact with non-finance personnel

  • Strong interpersonal and team work skills

  • Keen attention to detail with good analytical skills

  • Proactive with positive can do attitude

  • Experience with SAP preferable
