Our client, a leading global film production group, are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team. Based in the heart of London, the successful candidate will be sitting within a dynamic finance department, responsible for the following tasks:
- Preparing payment runs and processing purchase invoices
- Maintaining and monitoring the full creditors ledger, including creditors reconciliations
- Managing queries from external and internal stakeholders through to resolution
- Posting purchase ledger entries into the accounting system (e.g. invoices, payments & allocations)
- Supporting VAT processing, including assisting with preparation of quarterly VAT return
- Performing month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with wider month end closing
- Training operational teams on PO raising, SAP coding
The Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience
- Studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar
- Experience with SAP is preferred
- Intermediate Excel or higher (nested functions, pivot tables)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coherently interact with non-finance personnel
- Proactive, analytical and enthusiastic
