Handle are delighted to be working alongside a global music touring operator in their search to find a finance assistant to join their team in London. This role will be reporting into the finance manager to help run and operate the finance function. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to be exposed to the exciting world of live mus and theatre touring.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Support the Finance Manager and undertake any reasonable ad-hoc requests by your manager.
  • Monitor multiple inboxes and react in a timely manner to emails and queries from customers and suppliers.
  • Match bank account and credit card transactions in Xero.
  • Obtain current exchange rates daily and update in BoxTop.
  • Match supplier invoices to costs.
  • Ensure all overhead invoices are correctly authorised and posted to Xero in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements in a timely manner.
  • Produce a payment run schedule ready for approval from the Finance Manager.
  • Promptly transfer sales invoices.
  • Credit Control tasks including chasing overdue Invoices and phoning customers.
  • Investigate and resolve outstanding creditors and debtor items without delay.
  • Request invoices or remittances for any unallocated payments.
  • Send customer statements regularly ensuring payments are received on time and chase overdue payments weekly.
  • Produce a weekly debtors report and highlight any issues to senior management.
  • Reconcile company credit card purchases in a timely manner.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around two years experience in a finance function and an interest in the entertainment sector. This is an office based role so you must be prepared to work five days a week on-site from West London!
