​As many of our clients are discussing their 2025 events industry recruitment plans with a lot more confidence, we are expecting to see a continued focus on Marketing, Production and Client Development roles to support targeted, sustainable expansion.
Major industry players continue to expand their portfolios, acquiring niche businesses or forming strategic partnerships to diversify their offerings.

Recent examples include:

From a recruitment perspective, the need to reshape teams has created additional movement in the events industry through the need to consolidate skills, rehiring through the natural attrition change brings, and the reality of larger event delivery budgets.

In addition, companies that have historically focused on domestic events, are also exploring opportunities to take their brands and expertise to international markets, focusing on Dubai, Singapore and Central Europe.

With investment, acquisition, and globalisation there is an appreciation of the internal challenges that can occur. The biggest concern is making individuals within high performing teams feel unsettled because their current role or skillset may not align with the new strategies, market conditions, or expectations. For our clients, this often leaves three options, upskilling current employees, expanding existing teams, or building out a dedicated team focused on growth.
