The 24/25 Creative Opps Mentoring Programme is looking for new mentors.
Building on the success of their previous mentoring programmes, it will run from December 2024 to early June 2025, and mentors will provide 1 โ 2 hours of support a month (in person, hybrid or remotely).
For mentors, it provides an opportunity to reflect on their careers, keep tabs on the changes in their industry, and most importantly give back by supporting young and inquisitive minds.
โน๏ธ About the programme
A 2023 study from Ravensbourne University London, showed that less than 25% of young adults have been recommended a career in the creative industries.
Mentors act as a guide and sounding board for young people, helping them anchor their aspirations. The six-month programme offers a supportive environment, with funding available to cover travel and refreshment costs for any in-person meetings.
Mentee interests range from the music and film industry to creative marketing, journalism, photography, comms / graphic design and architecture, data and cybersecurity.
