The Film and TV Charity has launched its latest version of the Looking Glass Survey.

This survey aims to understand the mental health and well-being of those working within the Film and TV industry, including permanent and freelancing employees.

The 2024 Looking Glass Survey will explore several critical areas, including:

  • Changes in working culture and behaviours

  • The prevalence of bullying and harassment

  • The impact of industry work on personal lives

  • The relationship between financial wellbeing and mental health

The survey is designed for all involved in production and the full range of roles supporting the creation, distribution and exhibition of content across the UK. Five years ago, the first Looking Glass Survey discovered a mental health emergency affecting 9 in 10 industry workers. The survey will ask questions relating to the changes in culture and behaviour, prevalence of bullying, and the impact of the industry on the personal lives of those working within it.

If you work within the Film and TV industry, take part in the survey, your voice can help change lives.
