On Monday 31st July Handle was invited to the Gibson Guitar Showroom for the Amy’s Yard ‘Graduation of Class of December 2016’ and the ‘Showcase for Class of July 2017’
The night kicked off with the cohorts being presented with their official qualifications and certificates by rapper Giggs before the July class of 2017 took to the stage to showcase the work they’ve been creating over the 12 weeks. It was a real treat to see the amount of incredible talent on the night and we cannot wait to see the Class of July 2017 graduate! A very proud moment for us, it’s always such a joy seeing the transformation from very talented shy apprehensive youngsters to confident and responsible artists with an abundance of transferable skills that prepare them to seek and gain employment. Well done and congratulations all! Check out our Twitter and Instagram for more photos of the night!
Handle work closely with The Amy Winehouse Foundation on their Amy’s Yard programme to deliver ‘Employability Workshop Masterclasses’. We have over thirty-five years of experience working with young people searching for a huge variety of jobs within the music industry. During the session, we share our knowledge and teach the participants some of the skills they'll need when seeking employment both within music and beyond.
